The following is the grading for my health assessment physical exam, the waking nightmare which has consumed most of this semester. They dinged me on the neuro assessment a bit, but I got full credit for the video, and I don't need to redo any taping, which would be inconvenient, as my patient would probably take out a restraining order on me if I asked him to sit for me for a fourth time.

Complete—Pass; Points awarded: 23

General Comments: Pass. This assessment was outstanding in every way! You were poised, professional and your skills were polished. You had a wonderful introduction. Throughout the exam you demonstrated great attention to detail. You did not pass the neurological assessment because you left out a portion of it. While some of this exam was covered in the general survey, questions that would provide information regarding the client’s ability to think logically and abstractly, thought processes, and ability to make judgments were not addressed. In addition, there should be more detail in the recording of the cranial nerves.
